Position Descriptions

Server Consultant

Server Consultants plan, design and implement infrastructure services projects for customer environments, on customer sites and remotely. Sample projects include implementation of Windows Server and SharePoint, Exchange migrations, upgrades, server optimization, datacenter consolidation, virtualization and storage solutions. Successful candidates will have 5 years experience managing, troubleshooting and / or supporting Windows server systems. Windows 2000 or 2003 MCSE required. Experience in any of the following technologies a plus: Deploying & configuring SharePoint. Active Directory and/or SQL server; Virtualization (VMWare, MSFT Virtual Server) and storage (i.e., EMC, Evault).

Service Coordinator

The Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating resources to ensure timely implementations of Simpler-Webb's Managed Services and efficient distribution, escalation, and resolution of daily case queues. Successful candidate will have 5+ years in a client-facing, technical management position. Fluency in basic IT infrastructure technologies including network and system technologies. Strong written, and verbal communications skills. Ability to quickly refocus efforts between multiple priorities. Ability to work as part of a team. Experience with MS Project and salesforce.com a plus.

Network Security Technician - Service Desk

Network Security Technicians are the eyes and ears of our Managed Services. The Technician's focus is operating SWINC's Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP) and Server Management services. Responsibilities include basic troubleshooting and issue resolution, monitoring client networks , driving escalations, and tuning devices. Shifts available 24/7.

Web Developer

The Web Developer will be part of our team that develops and maintains our internally and externally facing client portal, tools, and web properties. 5+ years full-cycle software development experience; 3+ years in .NET (C#/SQL/ASP.NET) & 3+ years working with Microsoft technologies (Visual Studio, Windows, IIS, SQL Server); experience developing in all tiers, including strong database and report writing skills also required.

System Administrator - Simpler-Webb Internal IT

The System Administrator is responsible for day-to-day operation and support of Simpler-Webb's IT infrastructure. This hands-on role includes desktop, server and network administration with responsibilities for corporate, production, and development IT infrastructure. Responsibilities also include support of internal employees, including basic Exchange server support/administration and laptop provisioning. 5+ years system administration experience in complex Microsoft computing environment; experience supporting, managing and delivering IT operations for a medium-sized company; demonstrated expertise with one or more of the following: Active Directory, MS SQL, or Exchange; Experience supporting PDAs (Blackberry, Windows Mobile); working knowledge of network technology.
